(The shot opens on Kyle Magnum, staring at himself in the mirror as he
puts on his gloves. Then it switches over to another locker room, where
Rick Idol is sitting on a bench and taping his fists. Fade from this to
the opening, then to the announcers)
JB : "It's a golden night tonight at Massacre, folks! Three seperate
titles will be decided tonight - Chris Wren tries for the US title, Nomad
and Scorpion try for the tag titles, and Kyle Magnum gets his long-awaited
shot at the heavyweight gold held by Rick Idol!"
BH : "The only non-title match on the card isn't anything to sneeze at,
either - the leaders of the Pantheon and the Sickos on Parade will be
duking it out for supremacy!"
JB : "That's something I want to mention here, Buck. Rick Idol's called
Magnum on the fact that he's looking past tonight towards the House of
Death against Vermin, but no one has noticed Vermin is TOTALLY looking
past Alexander Atlas here tonight. He hasn't even mentioned Atlas in his
latest promos, not once, concentrating on Magnum and even Idol. That's GOT
to get under Atlas' skin! Atlas is no slouch. Can Vermin afford to be
going into the House of Death with a loss on his mind?"
BH : "It could work to Atlas' advantage, Jim, or it may not. This IS
Vermin we're talking about. He doesn't HAVE to worry about most
guys."
JB : "Point taken, but Alexander Atlas hardly qualifies as "most guys".
Fans, here's our complete card!"

Vermin vs "The Original Warrior" Alexander Atlas
| Vermin vs "The Original
Warrior" Alexander Atlas |
| Atlas was fired-up and went right at Vermin, firing away with
elbows and kicks, but Vermin just raised an arm and crushed him to
the mat. A head-butt caught Atlas as he tried to stand and knocked
him flat. Vermin grabbed Atlas by the throat with both hands,
choking the life out of him. Atlas kicked and fought, throwing
throat thrusts at Vermin, but the big man ignored his attacks and
lifted him into the air, still in the choke! Vermin threw Atlas
bodily after the choke, sending him rolling across the mat. Atlas
tried to pull himself up, but Vermin crushed him back down with
another clubbing hammer blow. Atlas fired in with kicks and shoudas,
then, straining, he lifted Vermin up and slammed him to the mat!
Atlas hit the ropes as Vermin got to one knee and yakuza kicked him
right in the face! This staggered the big man, but it didn't stop
Vermin from standing. Vermin fired a big right into Atlas' mouth,
which staggared him, but Atlas fired back with a spinning chop that
knocked Vermin into the ropes. Atlas followed in, but Vermin just
took one step forward and CRUSHED Atlas with the HAMMER OF HATE,
knocking him in a flip! |
Hammer of Hate |
| Vermin wiped his mouth and looked down at Atlas with a sneer.
But when he picked him up, Atlas caught him with another spinning
chop, then grabbed his leg and tripped him. Atlas draped the leg
across his shoulders, and showing off his power, put Vermin in a
stretch muffler! All 500 pounds of Vermin was pulling on his right
knee, and the giant quickly fought out to save his leg. Atlas
pounced on the downed Vermin and pounded in the back of his head
with hard punches. Vermin stood up with Atlas on his back, and Atlas
fell to his feet behind him. Atlas ducked a wild back elbow, hooked
Vermin up, and with a scream folded him up with an ORIGINAL
BACKDROP!! |
Original Backdrop! |
| Atlas pulled the dazed Vermin to his feet, gave him a chop right
between the eyes, and when that didn't phase him, jumped and
double-sledgehammered him in the forehead! This dropped the giant to
one knee. Atlas quickly set Vermin for ATLAS SHRUGGED, but despite
lifting twice, he couldn't execute! Vermin stood up and back body
dropped Atlas over and down, near the corner. Shaking his head,
Vermin backed up to the corner. Putting a foot on the second
turnbuckle, he lifted himself up and half-jumped off, dropping all
of his weight across Atlas's back!! Vermin waved Atlas up, but as he
tried to stand, Vermin pulled him in for a short-arm clothesline and
knocked him right back to the mat. Vermin pulled him up, hooked him
from behind, and pressed him up, and with a yell slammed Atlas' back
over his knee! Vermin shoved Atlas off his knee to the mat. Vermin
walked around the downed Pantheon leader for a moment, then pulled
him up, but Atlas switched around behind. From the rear wasitlock,
Atlas slammed Vermin over with an original german suplex!! |
Original German! |
| Vermin landed in the ropes and the hold was broken up.
Atlas tried to press the advantage, rocking Vermin with an american
jab while he was standing, but Vermin answered with a chop while
standing up that knocked Atlas clean off his feet. Atlas was up
quickly, but ran right into a Vermin scoop. With Atlas on his
shoulder, Vermin took two steps, jumped and PILE DRIVED his head
straight into the mat with the fire thunder driver! Vermin sat for a
minute, then tossed Atlas to the side. Vermin pulled Atlas up,
delievered a second press slam into a backbreaker, and then switched
his grip to have Atlas around the waist, facing down. Vermin then
brute strengthed Atlas above his head and slammed him down
face-first into the canvas! Atlas was struggling to stand and Vermin
motioned him on, encourgaing him to do so. Vermin grabbed him by the
arm and tried to whip him into the corner, but Atlas reversed the
move, sending Vermin into the buckles. Atlas tried to charge in to
follow-up but Vermin surged out with a second HAMMER OF HATE that
caught Atlas in mid-run! Atlas was in bad shape, and the Sicko fan
contingent began chanting "187! 187!". Vermin acknowledged this by
shaking his head negative, saying 'Not yet'. Vermin went to whip
Atlas in, but again Atlas reversed, sending Vermin to the opposite
corner hard. Atlas again charged, but this time Vermin caught him
coming in, lifted him up, and used his momentum to throw him
completely over the pole and into the isle!!! Atlas flew head-first
like a paper airplane and crashed hard on the concrete floor. A
'HOLY SHIT!' chant sprang up as Vermin just watched to see if Atlas
would get up or not. Eventually he did, but before he re-entered the
ring, he grabbed a sledgehammer from under the ring. |
| Vermin nodded at this as if expecting it. When Atlas re-entered,
Vermin just stood there, inviting him to use the hammer. Atlas did,
slamming it full-force into Vermin's chest - but the big man's only
reaction was to lift his leg and big boot kick Atlas clean off his
feet!! A large purple bruise formed on Vermin's chest where the
hammer hit. Vermin reached down and grabbed the dropped hammer with
a sadistic smile. Atlas saw what was coming and spinning chopped
Vermin right across that bruise, making him drop the hammer. Atlas
backed up a step and threw a running front high kick at Vermin that
knocked him back to one knee!! Atlas cross-cut his arms, a signal
for the end, then hooked Vermin from behind for another original
backdrop!! Atlas floated over and made the cover: 1------2------NEAR
FALL!! |
Original Backdrop gets the near
fall! |
| Atlas, near out of energy from throwing Vermin so much, tried to
whip Vermin into the corner. But the big man just pulled him in and
in a screaming rage clubbed him to the mat with his arms. Over and
over Vermin clubbed Atlas across the back and head with his arms
like an enraged simean. Lifting Atlas up, he jumped and PILE DRIVED
his head right into the steel head of the sledgehammer that was
laying on the mat!! Vermin hauled Atlas up just to HAMMER OF HATE
him back down. Then, lifting him up high from behind, he REVERSE
POWERBOMBED Atlas face-first onto the hammer head. |
Destruction! |
| Vermin walked to the corner, put a foot on the second rope, and
then launched himself toward Atlas with a diving headbutt, intending
to drive him once again into the hammer that lay underneath him. But
somehow, Atlas knew to roll at the last second, and Vermin came down
head-first on the hammer head!! Vermin was knocked silly, and Atlas
rolled to his knees. As Vermin tried to stand, Atlas took his
chance: he set the giant, hauled him up and crushed him down with
ATLAS SHRUGGED!! |
Mistake leads to Atlas
Shrugged! |
| Atlas lifted Vermin up, threw him to the ropes, and caught him
with a cross chop on the return that knocked him to the ground.
Atlas quickly pulled him back up and threw him again to the ropes,
this time jumping for the ORIGINAL FRANKENSTEINER.... but Vermin
didn't go over with the move, and Atlas just hung there. Everyone
knew what was coming - with a roar, Vermin pulled Atlas back up in
position, then POWERBOMBED him down with the 187 POWERBOMB!!! The
whole ring shook on the impact! |
187! |
| Vermin stood over the broken Atlas for a moment, then rolled him
over and covered him. 1-------2------ROPE BREAK!! Atlas got a foot
on the bottom rope! Enraged, Vermin grabbed him by the throat and
the tights, dead lifted him off the mat over his head and threw him
to the concrete floor!! Atlas hit and lay still. A few moments later
he finally started moving again, as Vermin waited in the ring, one
one knee, getting a much-needed breather. Atlas wisely used the
entire count to get back in the ring. When he did, Vermin charged
and grabbed him in a choke. Atlas struggled, then kicked Vermin in
the groin! Vermin turned red, and instead of releasing the hold, he
hauled Atlas up by the neck and spiked him face-first into the
canvas!! Vermin made the cover again: 1-------2-------NEAR FALL! How
Atlas made it out is anyone's guess. Vermin was beginning to show
signs of serious fatigue as well at this point. Atlas backed Vermin
into the ropes and whipped him across, then ran in and caught him
with another running front high kick, again knocking Vermin to a
knee. Atlas hooked the big man and tried to lift him for ATLAS
SHRUGGED, but Vermin dropped to both knees in an attempt to block.
Atlas drove his elbow into Vermin's spine four or five times, then
hauled him up and gave him a SECOND ATLAS SHRUGGED!! Exhausted,
Atlas dropped on Vermin's back and wailed on his unprotected head
with punches. Atlas rolled Vermin out to the floor and slowly
followed. The big man was up first, but the rabbit punches had him
dazed, and Atlas took advantage. Hooking Vermin, he lifted and
folded him up with an ORIGINAL BACKDROP ON THE FLOOR!!! This time,
it was Vermin who landed and didn't move afterwards. Atlas sat on
his hands and knees, gasping for breath! |
CRUSHING backdrop!! |
| Atlas searched under the ring for anything that might help, but
all he could find was a piece of plywood used to set up the ring.
Vermin slowly rolled back in while he was looking. Atlas re-entered
and swung the board, but Vermin punched it out of his grasp. Vermin
grabbed Atlas from behind, but Atlas elbowed out, so Vermin raised
and arm and hammered him to the mat. Vermin dropped for the cover:
1------2----KICKOUT by Atlas! Atlas scrambled back up, but Vermin
slammed him back down with another crushing hammer. Atlas crawled
along the ropes, trying to pull himself up. Vermin stalked behind
him, a look of crazed anger on his face. When Atlas finally DID
stand, all that awaited him was a THIRD HAMMER OF HATE!! Vermin made
the cover right afterwards: 1-------2--------NEAR FALL!! Atlas
rolled Vermin over from the cover and pounded him with left and
right hands. Atlas pulled Vermin up, gave a flex, then ran and cross
chopped him back to the mat. Pulling him up, Atlas flung him to the
ropes and tempted death by going for the frankensteiner again... but
this time he got it, slamming Vermin's entire mass onto his head!!
Atlas followed up quickly with another original backdrop that folded
Vermin up and rolled him back onto his knees. Atlas ran in an YAKUZA
KICKED him right back off of them!! Then, with a final scream, Atlas
pulled Vermin up for ANOTHER ORIGINAL BACKDROP!!! Atlas, completely
exhausted, just flopped over and lay there. The referee started
counting both men down. He made it up to a four count before Vermin
rolled over and hooked Atlas' far leg for the cover:
1------2-----------3!! Atlas threw everything he had left in that
last flurry, but didn't have any left to finish Vermin off. |

Tag Team
Title Match Hateworks vs Nomad/Scorpion
|
| Riding on the high of Vermin's victory, the Sicko team entered
this one with confidence. Bo and Nomad started things for their
teams. Bo charged straight at Nomad, but Nomad sidestepped his
suicide dropkick and Bo crashed to the canvas. The two fought over
slamming each other into the corner. Nomad lifted Bo for a move and
Bo slipped out behind him, hooking him up and back suplexing him
down. Bo reversed a cross-corner whip and sent Nomad into the
buckles hard, and he tagged in Scorpion. Bo slammed Scorpion and
hammered him in the kidneys. Scorpion responded in kind with a slam
and a chop to the throat that knocked Bo off his feet! Bo tagged in
Weehawk. Hawk reversed an irish whip and caught Scorpion with a
jumping high kick that jarred his teeth! Scorpion got up and
responded with a pair of knees to Hawk's face and a cover, which
Weehawk immediately kicked out of. Weehawk caught Scorpion unawares
with a low kick, then piledrived him to the mat. Scorpion didn't
shake that off too quickly, but he fought back viciously with his
fists, bringing the crowd to its feet, knocking Weehawk on his back
with a hard right to finish! Scorpion backed Hawk into the ropes and
whipped him across, but Hawk ducked Scorpion's lariat attempt and
simultaneously punched him in the gut, then Hawk stood up and gave
Scorpion a Nyman kick that knocked him back into his corner! |
Nyman Kick! |
| Scorpion fell into the corner, dazed, but then surged out with
punches, knocking Weehawk off long enough to tag out to Nomad.
Weehawk took the chance to tag in Bo. Nomad grabbed Weehawk in a
swinging neckbreaker before he could leave, but it left him open for
a Bo back suplex! Bo picked Nomad up by the back of his tights.
Nomad lifted Bo up again for a slam of some kind, but Bo escaped out
the back door and grabbed the rear waistlock. No dummy, Nomad
quickly back switched out, turning the tables, but Bo elbowed out,
backswitched again, and gave Nomad another back suplex! Bo pummeled
Nomad a bit before he could stand. Nomad went for the same move a
third time and a third time Bo escaped behind him, this time
slamming him in the back of the head with a right hook that knocked
him into the buckles. Bo quickly took advantage, sitting Nomad
backwards on the top turnbuckle, then giving him the VALHALLA TOSS!!
Nomad rolled out to center ring! |
Valhalla Toss! |
| A Sicko fan chant of "BO IS GOD!" got them a sky point from the
man himself. Bo turned to continue the attack when Nomad's valet
Jazz grabbed his foot. Bo turned to take a swipe at her, which she
avoided, but it gave Nomad time to get to the corner and tag in his
partner. Bo caught Scorpion up for a suplex, but Scorpion flipped
out behind him, dropped and punched him in the groin! Scorp then
hooked him up and slammed him down with a high-angle atomic drop!!
Scorpion kept the punishment coming with knees to Bo's face, then
stomped him in the groin while he was down. Bo rolled over and
tagged in Weehawk. Weehawk kicked Scorpion in the gut, then hooked
his arms and gave him a double-underhook piledriver! While Bo warded
off Nomad, Weehawk grabbed Scorpion's leg with one hand and wrapped
his other arm around Scorpion's neck. Then he locked his hands
behind Scorpion's back, turning him into a human pretzel! Nomad
dumped Bo from the ring and kicked Weehawk to break this hold, and
then the Vigilantes gave Weehawk a double suplex! |
Double Suplex |
| Nomad ripped at Weehawk's right arm with an armbreaking
combination before the referee forced him to the apron. While the
ref was distracted, Scorpion pulled Weehawk up, but got caught by a
Bo standing side kick!! Weehawk retook control thanks to that,
piledriving Scorpion a third time and then high-speed suplexing him
on the side of his neck. Scorpion escaped to tag Nomad, who was
immediately DDT'd to the canvas, and then double-underhook
piledriven by Weehawk! Nomad got up dazed, but not so dazed he
couldn't toss Weehawk out of the ring. The brawl was now on between
Nomad and Bo in the ring and Weehawk and Scorpion on the floor. The
Vigilantes took the early advantage, Nomad with an armbreaker and
Scorpion with his fists, but ended up losing, Bo nailing a counter
uranage and Weehawk piledriving Scorpion on the concrete! Back in
the ring, Weehawk tripped Nomad up and stomped him in the groin.
Weehawk dropped a knee across Nomad's face, then hooked the
double-underhook once again. This time, he lifted Nomad vertical and
dropped him straight down on his head, the SOULKILLER!! Nomad hit a
swinging neckbreaker, then slipped behind Weehawk and gave him a
jumping heel kick to the back of the skull! Weehawk stumbled into
his own corner and Bo tagged himself in. Nomad grabbed Weehawk to
stop him from leaving, but Bo punched him in the groin from behind!
Bo then hooked the kataha-jime on Nomad. Weehawk turned around and
roundhouse kicked Nomad right as Bo threw him backwards in the
kataha-jime suplex!! Bo didn't release the hold, either - instead,
he rolled over and kept the hold on. Weehawk intercepted Scorpion
and the two brawled. Bo was choking the life out of Nomad, and Bo
had the hold cinched where there was simply no getting out. Nomad
tried to fight it and got a foot close to the ropes, but couldn't
get it all the way there. Weehawk and Scorpion had spilled through
the ropes to the floor. When Nomad realized Scorp wasn't going to
make it to help, he eventually signalled his submission. |

United
States Title Match Abaddon vs "The Equalizer" Chris
Wren
|
| Abaddon was under some serious jet-lag, having just returned
from Japan for this match, and it showed in his bloodshot eyes. Wren
and Abaddon exchanged corner whips. Wren laid in some knees, then
squashed him with a rolling senton. Abaddon fired back with a pair
of gut shots and swung around for a back suplex, but Wren bulldogged
him out to center ring to counter! Wren ran and caught him with a
head scissor whip when he stood up, then drop kicked him when he got
up from that, sending him between the ropes to the floor. The crowd
cheered The Equalizer on, but Abaddon stood on the floor, slowing
the pace back down. Once back inside, he clotheslined Wren down and
tried to keep him on the mat with a rear chinlock. Wren fought out,
then slipped behind the champion, jumped on his shoulders and caught
him in a victory roll! Abaddon was out almost immediately. Abaddon
hooked Wren and took him over with a vertical suplex. A clothesline
and a schoolboy roll-up followed, but Abaddon forgot to pull the
tights, so Wren was quickly out. Wren kangaroo kicked out of another
backdrop attempt and laid some knees into Abaddon's head, but
Abaddon swung around and finally got the backdrop he was looking
for. Wren fired right back with a spin kick to the stomach and
locking Abaddon in a sick looking modified surfboard! |
Can you say OW? |
| Abaddon didn't give and kept fighting with punches. Abaddon
lifted Wren for the Rack of Faith, but Wren flipped out and to his
feet before the hold was cinched in, turning and spin kicking
Abaddon right in the ass and sending him sprawling! Abaddon got up
and tried the Rack a second time, and again Wren flipped out to his
feet, but this time Abaddon mule kicked him in the groin, then
turned around and flattened him to the canvas with a LOT of punches.
Another backdrop followed this, but Wren caught Abaddon's head and
took him over into a grounded headlock to counter! Abaddon kicked
and fought out of this hold, only to be caught right back in it a
moment later! Finally Abaddon clotheslined Wren down and dropped an
elbow on his neck. Whipping Wren to the ropes, he hit the opposite
ones and jumped at Wren for a flying shoulderblock - but Wren
sidestepped the move! Wren backed Abaddon into the ropes and whipped
him across, but whatever he expected to do never came off - Abaddon
launched himself into another flying shoulderblock when he returned,
this one flattening Wren to the mat! Abaddon made the cover:
1------2-----NEAR FALL!! |
Flying Shoulderblock |
| Abaddon waved to the back, apparently calling for help from the
HWO. Mr. Wiggles and the Hammers hit the isle, but Vice President
Red Dog was right there to stop them! An argument ensued in the
isle, and while everyone was distracted with this, Abaddon clocked
The Equalizer right in the back of the head some some object he'd
smuggled in his boot! Wren was dazed, but he still had enough
faculty to try to counter out of the Rack of Faith. Unfortunately,
Abaddon was thinking ahead, and let him try to flip out while
holding on to his neck. The result was Wren just adding his own
power to a vicious spicy drop!! Abaddon rolled Wren over for the
cover right afterwards: 1-------2--------3! |

MAIN
EVENT WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH "The ICON" Rick
Idol vs "Mr. Massacre" Kyle Magnum
|
| There would be no staredown here! Everything leading up to this
match was about to explode! Magnum scooped Idol up and slammed him
hard to the mat, then jumped and dropped a leg across his throat!
Idol scrambled up and responded with a hard american jab, to which
Magnum responded by just ramming him with a shoulder and knocking
him to the canvas. Idol got up and slammed Magnum. He caught Magnum
from behind as he was standing and wrapped on a royal octapus hold,
but Magnum powered out of it quickly and hammered Idol over the
head. Idol backed him to the ropes, whipped him across and caught
him with a clothesline on the return! Idol laid into Magnum with his
fists like he was hitting a heavybag. Magnum lost his cool and swung
wildly for a lariat, but Idol easily ducked it and kicked Magnum
right in the groin! Idol set Magnum for a powerbomb, but Magnum back
body dropped him over before he could do it. Magnum dropped the leg
on Idol and then clubbed him again. He set Idol in position for a
piledriver, possibly his reverse tombstone, but Idol flipped him
over to counter. Idol whipped Magnum to the ropes, but Magnum
reversed and sent Idol in instead, catching him on the return with a
huge tilt-a-whirl slam!! |
Tilt-a-whirl slam! |
| Magnum hooked up a full nelson, trying to follow, but Idol mule
kicked him in the groin, then turned and shoved him through the
ropes to the floor. Idol flipped Magnum the bird and Magnum rolled
back in cursing a blue streak. Both men kept going for either
piledrivers or powerbombs, but couldn't manage to hit one. On one
attempt, Idol pulled away and SLAMMED a fist into Magnum's gut,
knocking his wind out, then snap suplexed the much larger Magnum
over! Idol grabbed Magnum's arm and single-arm DDT'd him to keep him
from standing, then stomped and kicked him while he was down. Idol
pulled Magnum up, hooked the head and in a flash gave him the
SPLIT-SECOND DDT!! Not wasting a second, Idol pulled Magnum back up,
and finally hit the #1 POWERBOMB!! 1------2-----KICKOUT by Magnum!
|
SSDDT! |
Idol didn't let up for a second, pounding Magnum to the canvas
with punches, and followed this with a stomp in the groin. Magnum
resorted to using holds, first tripping Idol up and locking on a
surfboard variant, then elbowing out of a rear waistlock and putting
on a cobra clutch! Magnum knows holds? You learn something new every
day! It didn't phase Idol too much, he fought out of both fairly
quickly, but ran into a short-arm clothesline a moment later. Magnum
followed this with another leg drop. Magnum hooked Idol in position
for a suplex, but Idol blocked it with his leg behind Magnum's,
eventually snap suplexing Magnum over! Idol taunted Magnum and
dropped a knee into his back. Idol reversed a Magnum whip into the
corner, but when he tried to follow up, Magnum lifted him into yet
another hold: this one, a canadian backbreaker! The holds were
taking their toll, even though Idol was fighting out of them as
quickly as he could. Idol fought down and snap suplexed Magnum a
third time, floating over for the cover: 1-----2--------NEAR FALL
for Idol!! Idol quickly tried to press the advantage, setting Magnum
for a powerbomb, but Magnum stood up and clotheslined Idol hard to
the mat! Magnum slammed Idol into the corner, got a running start
and CRUSHED him with a lariat! Idol wobbled out, and Magnum took his
chance: he hooked Idol for the suplex, lifted him up, and dropped
him down with the GRAVEDIGGER!! 1--------2-------
----NEAR
FALL!! Idol kicked out of the Gravedigger?! The arena went nuts!
Magnum was suprised at first... but then he turned red and started
shaking with rage! |
GRAVEDIGGER NEAR FALL?! |
| Magnum caught Idol up in a backbreaker, then put on the full
nelson. Then, lifting Idol up, he tossed him down to the floor from
the ring with the full nelson slam!! This brought another "HOLY
SHIT!" chant out of the crowd, and reminded us all of Idol's
condition once again. Now outside the ring, Magnum dragged Idol over
to the bare concrete. Then, setting him for a suplex, he dropped
Idol head-first into the concrete with the CALM BEFORE THE STORM!!
|
Calm Before the Storm! |
| Idol didn't get up from the screwdriver. Magnum left him laying
and returned to the ring. The referee was about to call the KO when
Idol finally stirred, pulling himself up on the barricade. He
stumbled on his way back to the ring and would have fallen had he
not been able to grab the apron to hold himself up. His eyes glassy,
he looked down at the floor and discovered the sledgehammer that had
been used in the Vermin/Atlas match earlier. Perhaps acting on
instinct, he grabbed it and rolled back in the ring. Magnum grabbed
him as soon as he was in and hooked him for a suplex. He lifted Idol
up, and Idol dropped the hammer right below them. It didn't stop
Magnum - he dropped Idol head-first onto the hammer with the
GRAVEDIGGER!!! The blow knocked Idol completely unconcious.
1-----2---------3!! Magnum takes the first round! |
Second Gravedigger! |
RESULT: Magnum d. Idol at 12:59 via pinfall
(Gravedigger)
|
| Idol didn't get up after the Gravedigger at all. The
referee called for medical assistance. The VP and the Vigilantes
came to ringside along with the EMT's, but by the time they arrived,
Idol had begun stirring on the mat and was trying to stand up.
Magnum was arguing with the referee and with VP RD to give him the
match and the title, that Idol was obviously in no condition to
continue. RD was about to do it when Idol finally made it to his
feet, albiet very unsteadily. Nomad was even arguing with the VP to
call the match off, but Idol stared at RD with a look that said more
than a thousand words. If RD had not been a wrestler himself, maybe
he would have called it off. But he is, so, against his better
judgement, the VP signaled the match was to continue. Enraged,
Magnum screamed profanity at him and then stalked towards Idol.
|
| Idol immediately swung with a Legend Killer at Magnum, but
missed by a wide margin. Magnum kicked him low, hooked him and
slammed him to the canvas with a SPINNING DOCTOR BOMB!!
1-------2-------NEAR FALL!! Idol somehow kicked out. Magnum, with a
look of total rage on his face, lifted Idol and dropped him with a
SECOND Calm Before the Storm!! Idol landed limp, and Magnum hooked
both of his legs for the cover: 1-------2--------NEAR FALL!! Idol
kicked again! Idol managed to grab Magnum's arm and single-arm DDT
him, but Magnum came right back at him with a full nelson slam that
knocked his head again into the mat! Magnum went from that into a
lifting-up reverse DDT, sending him head-first into the mat, then
used a reverse powerbomb, slamming Idol's head down hard!! The fans
in the arena continually chanted for Idol, while some looked
concerned for his health. Magnum pulled Idol up, but the champion
couldn't stand. Magnum screamed profanity at him trying to pull him
up.. and Idol punched him in the groin! Then again, and a third
time, and Magnum turned and held his groin, trying to limp away and
avoid falling down. Idol stood up and BLASTED him in the back of the
skull with a LEGEND KILLER!! |
LEGEND KILLER! |
| Idol fell with the momentum of the move, but he'd finally
stopped Magnum, at least for the moment. Both got slowly to their
feet. Idol shot Magnum a weak punch, and in response, Magnum roared
and lariated him so hard it knocked him in a flip!! The blow to his
head was the final straw for Idol, he was legit out cold. Magnum
dropped for the cover: 1-----2---------3!! |
