EFW Massacre EFW Arena
- Glasgow,
Scotland 02-01-2003
|
(The EFW opening is bypassed this week, straight to a shot of the
announcers)
JB : "Ladies and gentlemen, this is Jim Biggins and welcome to EFW
Massacre. Folks, this ..."
(Suddenly, with no fanfare, Vermin stalks through the curtain and heads
for the ring, cheered on by the Sicko fans. Behind him, he is dragging
'The Extreme' Condo Warrior by a noose. Condo's mouth is taped and his
hands are tied in front of him, and he doesn't look good. Vermin has a
look of murder on his face. Following them come the other Sickos: Bo Abobo
and Weehawk, in their wrestling gear and wearing their title belts; Bane
in a suit with the perdition title and a briefcase; Tyrant with the world
title over his shoulder; Avatar, dressed in the jumpsuit like the other
guards; and finally Hannibal and Mr. Wiggles round out the group. Hannibal
is escorting referee Stu Lumpkin to the ring by his arm. Vermin tosses
Condo between the ropes and the others circle the ring. Hannibal rolls Stu
into the ring while Vermin removes the rope and tape from Condo. Bane
grabs a mic from the ring announcer and hands it to
Vermin)
Vermin : "Ring the fucking bell."
| Vermin vs "The Extreme"
Condo Warrior |
| After walking right through his attempts at offense, Vermin
grabbed Condo and spiked him head-first into the mat barely a minute
into the match. A Hammer of Hate followed right afterwards and
everybody knew Condo was already out of the match. Another Hammer
came next, and a cover by Vermin, but Vermin pulled Condo up on two.
Vermin gave Condo a fire thunder driver, then ran and crushed him
with a body splash, only to pull him up at two again. Vermin then
tossed him around the ring a couple of times, then waved at him to
stand. Condo wasn't moving. Vermin covered him, and pulled him up
once more on two. Then, climbing to the top, Vermin jumped off and
top rope body splashed Condo, drawing a gasp from the crowd. Again
Vermin pulled him up, and this time slammed him to the canvas with
the 187 Powerbomb so hard he flopped onto his stomach. Another fire
thunder and Vermin choked Condo's nearly lifeless form with his
hands. Vermin hauled him up and gave him a Paralyzer, but Condo
didn't respond, well beyond the point of knowing where he was.
Vermin took one final look at Condo laying on the mat and finally
pinned him with a foot on his chest. |

(After Vermin finally pins Condo, he presses Condo over his head and
throws him over the top rope and out of the ring, sending him crashing
across the announce desk. Vermin grabs the mic again)
Vermin : "I've tried to run this company the best way I know how.
Despite people constantly mocking and challenging me, I have attempted to
stay as neutral as my being allows. People have said and done things that
they would have been hanged for scant years ago, and yet they met were met
with no response. I retired as an active wrestler to become president
because I knew there was no way I could possibly wrestle and run the show
with any kind of impartiality. I came back as a wrestler because brutally
beating people is too much a part of my nature to be let go. I thought I
could do both. I now see just how wrong I was. There is no way for me to
lead this group back to the excellence it once had while the title of
president still sits before my name. There are men in this federation that
need to be punished. There are people here who do not know what the Sickos
on Parade stand for. That must change, yet I cannot do what must be done.
Something must give. Avatar, patch me in to the PA
system."
(Avatar speaks into his headset. Soon, Vermin's voice can be heard all
throughout the arena, in all the locker rooms and
corridors)
Vermin : "This is EFW president Vermin. I know everyone can hear me.
Pay heed to my words, because this effects you all. Tonight marks the
beginning of a new era in this federation. As of this moment, I resign as
president of Extreme Firepro Wrestling."
(The crowd and announcers are shocked. Only the Sickos at ringside show
no sign of suprise)
Vermin : "I relinquish all executive power, and along with it all
executive responsibility."
(Vermin looks right at the camera)
Vermin : "And so it begins."
(Vermin drops the mic. He exits the ring and is followed out by the
other Sickos)
JB : "What a shocker!! Vermin is no longer the president of our
federation!"
BH : "I never would have expected this. I thought Vermin enjoyed being
in power."
JB : "What did he mean by that last line, Buck?"
BH : "I don't even want to think about it."
JB : "Fans, here's our card."

|
(The EFW security force is sent out to enforce
the lumberjack rules for the 6-man tag. The Dod Squod is introduced
as a unit, followed by 'The Equalizer' Chris Wren. Jack Dod waves
Ronnie and Jane to the apron and twists a bit, stretching, telling
them he's got it under control)
Ring Announcer Larry Wunarme - "His first
partner... from Mobile, Alabama, weighing in at 218 pounds....
ASHTON ADLER!!!"
(Wren's jaw hits the floor as Adler makes his
way through the curtain and towards the ring. Wren holds his arms
out as if to ask 'what the hell are you doing?' and Adler responds
by pointing at Wren and saying 'I'm doing you a favor!'. Before the
two can get into it, the ring announcer speaks again)
Ring Announcer Larry Wunarme - ".... and his
second partner.... from Detroit, Michigan, weighing in at 318
pounds... "MR. MASSACRE" KYLE MAGNUM!!!"
(Both Wren and Adler clear the way for Magnum,
who stalks to the ring with a homicidal grin on his face, pointing
at Jack Dod. Wren watches him walk by wide-eyed. Jack tries to tag
in anyone on his team, but they won't let him, and before he knows
it Magnum is in the ring!)
|
| Chris Wren, Ashton Adler and
Kyle Magnum vs The Dod Squod |
| Magnum charged at Dod, slamming him with a clubbing forearm. Dod
tried to get some offense in but Magnum shrugged him off at every
turn, finally lifting him into a canadian backbreaker. He dropped
Dod to the mat and then dropped a leg across his neck, drawing
cheers from the crowd. Dod speedily crawled to the corner and tagged
in Jane. Jane was met with a canadian backbreaker, a hammer blow to
the spine and a huge slam by Magnum. When she stood, Magnum wound up
and cleaned her clock with a huge hook, knocking her back into the
corner. He pointed to JD, who held up his hands and refused to tag
in. Magnum shrugged and back brain lariated Jane straight into the
mat. But when he pulled her back to her feet, she switched around
behind him and jammed him in the back of the neck with some kind of
illegal object! This stunned Magnum long enough for her to tag in
Ronnie. |
Cheap shot |
|
(With the EFW security force at ringside
enforcing the lumberjack rules, the backstage area is left
virtually unguarded. The camera quickly cuts to a split-screen
during this match, one side showing the match and the other
showing the Sickos, including Avatar, Wiggles, Hannibal and
Tyrant, led by Vermin, marching with purpose in the backstage
area. The come upon a locker room marked with a sign that
reads 'Pantheon'. Without hesitating, Vermin kicks the door in
off it's hinges. The Sickos all rush into the room. The
camerman wisely decides not to follow, but the sounds of a
melee can be heard out in the hallway. A minute later, Vermin
comes back out, dragging Maxwell Potterdam by his tie, as the
melee continues inside the locker room. He hoists Potterdam up
off the ground and holds him against the wall by his throat.
He points into his face and whispers something inaudible to
him while the other Sickos slowly file out of the locker room.
Vermin gives Potterdam a final look and then drops him to the
floor. The camera stays on Potterdam trying to compose
himself. A beaten Alexander Atlas emerges from the locker room
moments later and throws a chair after the Sickos, then
attends to his boss. The camera follows the Sickos, but then
jerks to the side to show a downed Caleb Dod! Caleb is laying
face-down on the floor, a broken ball bat next to him, in the
opposite direction of the Sickos. What was going
on?)
| |
| Jane and Ronnie double-teamed Magnum, laying in several hard
punches each. Ronnie grabbed his legs and dropped a knee into his
groin, But he missed a dropkick right afterwards, giving Magnum the
oppertunity to tag out to Adler. Adler caught Ronnie coming in with
a drop toe hold, then reversed a suplex into one of his own, sending
Ronnie down hard. When he stood, Adler planted him back to the
canvas with a nice dropkick, standing and pointing at Wren
afterwards. Wren just shrugged and mock applauded. This distraction
was enough for Ronnie to grab Adler and slam an elbow into his
forehead. Adler responded by cyclone whipping Ronnie down and
applying a stranglehold gamma to him, wrenching the arm and the neck
at the same time. Ronnie powered out and made for the corner,
tagging in Jack. Adler walked to his corner and chopped Wren across
the chest, his form of a tag, and then stepped out to the apron.
Wren gave him a dirty look and then stepped into the ring. Ronnie
got in a cheap shot in the form of a headlock punch before he left
the ring, giving Jack a chance to leg drop Wren as he lay on the
mat. Wren came right back with a switch around and a jumping spin
kick to the back of Jack's skull! Jack was up quick but walked right
into a standing side kick that put him back on the mat. Wren grabbed
his leg and wrapped him into an STF, but they were too close to the
ropes and Jack grabbed a rope to force the break. He came back with
a snap mare and a hard chop on Wren, but Wren hooked him and lifted
him for a vertical suplex... and waited... and finally dropped him
to the canvas! Wren hit Jack with a spinning wheel kick right in the
mush when he stood and Jack had had enough, tagging Ronnie back in.
Ronnie met with another delayed suplex, but with Jack and Jane
distracting Wren, Ronnie managed to jump and land a big head butt on
Wren. Ronnie then tossed Wren over the top to the outside, expecting
the lumberjacks to deal with him. But Wren grabbed on to the rop
rope with both hands and never hit the floor! Then, he pulled
himself back up and over the top rope behind Ronnie! When Ronnie
turned to him, Wren hooked him and dropped him head-first to the mat
with a high speed DDT! Wren stood up pointing at Adler on the apron,
asking for his opinion, and Adler let him have it at Wren using his
finisher! |
Wren uses Adler's
finisher! |
| Ronnie was up dazed, and Wren went out to the apron. When he
tried to springboard back in, Jane ran over and shoved him down into
the ring, drawing a chorus of boos from the crowd. Ronnie took
advantage, hitting a punch leading with his knuckle. Wren managed to
barely duck a heart punch, but Ronnie grabbed him into a headlock
and drilled punches into his head. A no-touch head butt followed
knocking Wren down. Ronnie dragged him to his feet and gave him
another jumping head butt, turning the match to his advantage.
Ronnie lifted Wren up and brought him down with a sidewalk slam that
crushed the smaller man, and then turned to choking him with both
hands which brought everyone into the ring. In the melee, Magnum
grabbed Jack and hooked him for the Gravedigger.... but Jack shoved
him off and kicked him right in the jacobs, effectively countering
the move!! |
Gravdi--OOHHHH! |
| Wren managed to slip Ronnie into another DDT, which further
angered Adler and gave him a chance to tag. Instead of tagging
Magnum, Wren tagged Adler in, who immediately walked over to Ronnie
and planted him with the SST!! He stood up yelling at Wren 'THAT'S
how it's done!' before rolling Ronnie up for a cover. This brought
both Jack and Jane into the ring, followed by Magnum and Wren. The
brawl was on, and in the confusion Ronnie slipped in a tag to Jane,
unknown to Adler. Jane came in and traded shots with Adler, but kept
tripping him to the canvas. She whipped him across and caught him
coming back with a running facecrusher, then dropped and pounded on
him with punches. This brought in both teams again, but this time in
the chaos Adler got to his corner and tagged.. to Magnum! Jack and
Jane didn't even bother to try to let it stay one-on-one, double
teaming Magnum as soon as he hit the ring. Jack dove for his ankle,
tripping him, then wrapped on a crucifix armbar. When Magnum got out
of that, Jane did the same, instead wrapping on a head and neck lock
to cut off Magnum's breathing. But the big man eventually made it to
his feet, enraged, and tossed Jane around like a doll with a
spinning doctor bomb! Luckily the cover was too near the ropes to be
counted. Jane tried poking Magnum in the eyes, only to eat a reverse
tombstone piledriver in response! Magnum then hit the ropes, jumped
and crushed Jane with all of his 318 pounds in a body splash! Magnum
pushed Jane into the corner and called for Jack, who tagged in to
save his sister's life. Jack begged off into the corner, only to
poke Magnum in the eyes and toss him to the outside! Jack ordered
Ronnie to attack Magnum on the outside, but Ronnie shook his head
vehemently, refusing to go out there with the lumberjacks. An
argument ensued while the security men pounded and kicked Magnum as
he lay on the ground. But then Magnum roared to his feet, sending
security guys flying in all directions. When the raging Magnum
returned to the ring, Ronnie kicked him in the nelsons again to drop
him to the canvas. Jack then wrapped on a torturous half boston crab
and laughed, finally having Magnum where he wanted him. |
Half-Crab |
| Magnum forced the break by grabbing the nearby ropes, then made
to his corner and tagged in Adler. Wren then grabbed Jack from
behind, holding his arms so Adler could get in a free shot. Adler
wound up and struck, but Jack moved out of the way at the last
second, leaving Adler to clock his own partner, knocking him clean
off the apron! The lumberjacks went to town on Wren, but Adler
didn't care, and Magnum sure didn't care. |
Mistake.. or was it? |
| Adler sure didn't seem to care too much which one he hit, but
the opening gave Jack a chance he needed. Scooping up the unaware
Adler, he brought him down across his knee with a backbreaker. A
jumping piledriver followed, Jack driving Adler's head into the
canvas. Jack went for the cover and the referee totally lost all
control of the match. People came in and out over the next few
minutes of utter chaos - Magnum hit some vader hammers on Jane, Jane
got a running facecrusher on Wren, Wren ducked a lariat from Jack,
setting him up to eat a high-speed german suplex from Adler!
Somewhere in the melee, Magnum hooked up Ronnie and delivered the
GRAVEDIGGER! Wren took care of Jane, tossing her to ringside, while
Adler rolled Jack up with a leg roll clutch. The referee made the
count: 1----2-----3!! |

(The victorious team ejects the Dods from the
ring. Magnum then chases them to the back, his pike in hand, leaving
Adler and Wren in the ring. After a short staredown, Adler offers
Wren a handshake! Wren is tenuous, but finally accepts the
handshake... only to be yanked into an SST by Adler!! The crowd boos
his loudly, but Adler just shakes his head at Wren and exits the
ring. Right then, Wren flips from his back up to his feet! Wren runs
over to the ropes and points to Adler, shouting "Get back in here!
We're not through yet!!!" as Adler is walking up the ramp. Adler
appears somewhat amused, but then gestures in an "Aw f**k it!!" way,
and leaves. Wren throws his hands up in frustration, then realizes
that he's alone in the ring. He looks at the crowd almost as to say
"Well now what?" The crowd cheers him, and Wren acknowledges
them)
JB : "And The Equalizer stands victorious in the ring!"
(Wren exits the ring and heads backstage,
giving high-fives to the first row of fans as he
goes)
JB : "Now there's the kind of thing I like to see.... what's
that? Fans, something is going on backstage!"
(The camera cuts to backstage, where Magnum is
chasing the Dods. Suddenly, as he passes a pile of wooden pallets,
Magnum is struck in the knees with a pipe, sending him fliping head
over heels to the ground, his pike clattering across the floor out
of his grasp. Bane stands up from behind the pallets with the pipe
in his hands and the Sickos swarm Magnum, kicking and stomping him
down. Finally, after Magnum is beaten down, Vermin steps into the
shot, a lit cigar in his mouth. Tyrant and Bo Abobo hold Magnum by
the arms on the ground. Vermin then grabs Magnum by the head, lifts
him up, and then with the help of Abobo and Tyrant, SPIKE 187
POWERBOMBS him onto the stack of pallets, shattering two of them!
Vermin then drops the cigar on the floor next to Magnum's head and
symbolically crushes it out)
JB : "First the Pantheon, now Magnum! The Sickos are going after
their enemies one by one!"
BH : "If I was Prototype, I'd be on a plane right
now!"

(After Stillman and Kalahan are introduced,
Condo is helped out to the ring by Jade for this match. He is in no
shape to wrestle whatsoever. Stillman and Kalahan look suprised that
he is even attempting the match in his condition. It takes them
while to make it out. It's bad enough that even though he doesn't
like Condo, Vice President Red Dog stops the pair halfway up the
isle, trying to convince Condo to go to the hospital. Jade gives him
and icy stare, and Condo roughly shoves him aside, continuing to the
ring. He slowly rolls in and the referee calls for the opening
bell)
|
| Bret Stillman vs "The
Professional" Reid Kalahan vs "The Extreme" Condo Warrior |
| Kalahan and Stillman went straight at Condo, trying to take
advantage of his weakness, but Condo was somehow able to fight both
of them off, using chops as his main offense. But there were no
allies in this one, because Condo and Kalahan double suplexed
Stillman about a minute in! Stillman took every oppertunity he could
to work the legs of both of his opponents. Kalahan took over control
at four minutes with a belly to belly suplex and back brain kick on
Stillman, only to have Condo slam him to the mat with hard punches
moments later. Condo and Stillman landed a sandwhich back brain kick
on Kalahan, squashing his head between them. Condo then laid into
Stillman with punches, only to turn and TOMBSTONE Kalahan right
afterwards!! |
Condo's on fire! |
| Stillman then took over the advantage briefly, hitting a back
drop on Kalahan, then clotheslining and kicking the legs out from
under Condo. Condo responded with a tombstone, and dropping and
hitting Kalahan in the stormin' normans, dropping him to the mat.
Condo DDT'd Kalahan and continued with the punching attack on
Stillman, not letting either opponent rest. Stillman piledrived
Kalahan and continued to work the legs, only for Condo to grab him
and tombstone him yet again! Kalahan then grabbed Condo, but Condo
dropped him to the canvas with the STONE COLD KILLER!! |
Stone Cold Killer! |
| Kalahan finally managed to do something offensive in there,
nailing a jumping piledriver on Condo! Condo just flopped over on
the mat afterwards, definitely out of it. Stillman caught Kalaha
from behind with an atomic knee crusher, then wrapped on the
figure-four leglock!! Kalahan was in serious pain, but didn't tap
out. When Stillman saw Condo finally getting to his feet, he broke
the hold himself. Kalahan was up quickly and slammed Stillman over
with a single-arm suplex! |
Suplex! |
| Kalahan was definitely limping after all the punishment to his
legs Stillman had dished out. He swung around behind and suplexed
Condo onto the side of his neck, drawing a gasp from the crowd.
Condo didn't move at all after the move, and when he finally got to
his elbows and knees, he spit a mouthfull of blood onto the mat.
Stillman piledrived Kalahan right after the suplex. He signaled to
the crowd for the figure-four, but it wouldn't be him who applied
it. Condo crawled up behind Stillman and gave him an uppercut right
to the family jewels! Then, barely able to make his feet, Condo
wrapped the figure-four leglock on Kalahan! Kalahan tried to fight
to the ropes, but he couldn't reach them, and he was forced to give
up! |
The figure-four prevails |
RESULT: Condo d. Kalahan at 14:55 via submission
(Figure-four) |
| The relatively fresh Stillman now went to work on Condo. A
vertical suplex was followed by a piledriver, and Condo's battered
body just wouldn't respond to his commands. Stillman grabbed him for
an atomic knee crusher, but at the apex, Condo grabbed his arm
around Stillman's head and turned the move into a counter Stone Cold
Killer!! Both men were down for a period of time, and there was
actually a small 'Condo! Condo!' chant going somewhere in the arena.
Condo continued the assult with a knee crusher of his own, then a
DDT. Then he went for it all and wrapped on the UNCLE CONDO #2!!
Jade was cheering him on fromt ringside, but Stillman refused to
give in! |
UNCLE CONDO #2! |
| Condo eventually ran out of strength to apply the hold and
released it. Stillman caught him in a backslide a moment later and
scored a near fall! Stillman then worked the legs even more - a low
dropkick was followed by an atomic knee crusher and then another low
dropkick. Every part of Condo's body was now totally battered, but
yet he still refused to quit. Be it sheer stubborness or insanity or
what have you, Condo found the strength to lift Stillman and
tombstone him down for a third time! Stillman got up and Condo
chopped him with everything he had left - one, two, three, four,
five chops and Stillman went back to the mat. Condo then slowly
climbed to the top rope! After he got to the top, he came flying off
with a frog splash!.. but the pin was in the ropes! Pantheon fans
around the world groaned as Condo was forced to break up the pin!
|
Frog Splash! |
| Condo weakly held up three fingers, not even realizing the count
had never been made at all, let alone reached three. Stillman
slammed him into the corner, then ran in and crushed him with a
clothesline! Condo crumbled to the mat, but Stillman had to stop for
a rest and couldn't capitalize. After Condo reached his feet,
Stillman gave him a side russian leg sweep, then covered him almost
dead-center ring... 1----2------KICKOUT!! Condo kicked out! Stillman
looked suprised. Condo had to pull himself up on the ropes. Stillman
wasn't even sure if he should keep attacking Condo in his condition,
looking at the referee in concern. Condo didn't have any such qualms
- when Stillman turned back to him, Condo screamed and launched
himself at Stillman with one last rush of everything he had left,
clocking him right in the face with his fist!! Stillman fell to the
mat with Condo on top of him, and the referee counted:
1--------2----------3!!! Condo won the three way dance against all
odds! |

|
Perdition Title Match Bane vs Andy
Kojima
|
| Both men started out trading drop toe holds. Bane laid in some
crushing chops, causing Kojima to irish whip him into the barbed
wire board! Bane came out with another chop, then whipped Kojima to
the ropes and chopped him right off his feet! Bane swung around
behind Kojima and gave him a sheer drop back suplex, but Kojima
countered his next move with a drop toe hold. Kojima rammed a knee
into Bane's torso and tried for a reverse cricifix knee lock, but
Bane twisted out before the move did any real damage. Bane came back
with more chops, rapid fire this time, and finished by grabbed
Kojima's arm and pulling him into a short-arm clothesline. Kojima
tripped him to the mat with another drop toe hold, but Bane whipped
him across and nailed him with a leg lariat on the return. Bane
wrapped on a crucifix knee hold of his own, trying to take power
away from Kojima's kicks. Kojima fought out and planted another knee
into Bane's torso, but his next kick was caught and Bane locked the
trapped leg into a side knee hold! Kojima managed a cyclone whip,
but Bane caught his next kick and tried to rip his knee out with a
dragon screw legwhip! Bane dropped a knee across his head, but
Kojima kneed him in the midsection again when he got back to his
feet. Kojima tried another kick, and Bane caught it again, this time
spinning Kojima around. He grabbed Kojima in a rear waistlock and
threw him across the ring with a throwing german suplex! |
Throwing german suplex! |
| Kojima responded by throwing Bane into the barbed wire board
again, and then cyclone whipping him to the mat. Kojima then drop
kicked Bane in the back of the head when he sat up! Bane elbowed out
of a move attempt, and Kojima did the same, and then Bane scored two
straight two counts on roll-ups. Kojima went straight back to the
knee to the midsection, then locked in the reverse knee hold again,
this time getting some damage in before Bane escaped. Bane kicked
Kojima low, then set him for a powerbomb. He lifted and Kojima
kicked and fought, he lifted a second time and Kojima did the same.
Bane then screamed and hauled Kojima up and wild bombed him to the
mat!! Kojima was out on two. |
Wild bomb! |
| Bane kept the attack on with another sheer drop back suplex.
Another leg lariat followed. Bane covered Kojima several times, but
never scored more than a flat two. Bane tried to whip Kojima into
the barbed wire, only to have it reversed, sending Bane into the
wire for the third time. This time, Bane came out bleeding! Kojima
took advantage of his dazed state and DDT'd Bane to the mat. Kojima
whipped Bane across and leapfrogged him when he came back, but Bane
stopped short instead of hitting the ropes. When Kojima landed and
turned, Bane lariated him out of his boots! Bane wiped the blood
from his brow in a rage. Another sheer drop back suplex bounced
Kojima off the mat, followed by another lariat that Bane threw his
whole body into. Kojima punched Bane and gave him three knees to the
midsection. He tried it again, but Bane countered the move, hooking
the arm and wrapping Kojima into the Peppermint Twist!! Kojima
refused to give, fighting his way out of the move. He gave Bane a
pair of middle kicks, knocking the wind out of the champion, but
Bane hooked and threw him with a double-arm suplex. Bane then rolled
Kojima out to the barbed wire. Then, in something you never would
have seen from Bane before this match, he hit the ropes and hit a
corkscrew plancha onto Kojima, both men crashing into the barbed
wire!! |
Ouch! |
| Bane swiveled his hips over Kojima mockingly, then stomped him.
He lifted Kojima and dropped him into the barbed wire with a sheer
drop back suplex. Kojima responded with a kick, then a pair of
knees, and then a roundhouse kick right to Bane's jaw, knocking him
into the railing! Kojima then hit the ring. He bounced off the
ropes, going for a suicide dive of his own, but Bane bailed out of
the way and Kojima aborted before he jumped. Another double-arm
suplex met Kojima when Bane returned. Bane then whipped Kojima
across and caught him with a belly to belly suplex that sent him
sliding back-first down the barbed wire board in the corner!! The
Sickos fans were definitely loving the new, more aggresive Bane.
Kojima wasn't impressed, though, and flashed out four roundhouse
kicks before you could blink, knocking Bane half silly! |
Lightning fast kicks! |
| Kojima locked in an ankle lock right after this, and caused good
damage to Bane's leg before the champion squirmed out. Kojima
switched around behind Bane and german suplexed him over, then
rolled over the top and cradled his legs! The referee counted
1-----2---- NEAR FALL!! Bane caught Kojima with another belly to
belly suplex when the two made it to their feet. Bane switched
around behind Kojima, only to have Kojima kangaroo kick him
back-first right into the barbed wire board!! Kojima then pulled
Bane off the board, hooked him up and gave him a tiger driver!! The
referee counted: 1-----2---- NEAR FALL!! Another tiger driver...
1-----2---- NEAR FALL!!! Kojima then went nuts with kicks, finishing
with a kick to the back of Bane's head. Kojima rolled him up....
1-----2----- NEAR FALL AGAIN!!! Kojima then hooked Bane and
delivered a THIRD Tiger driver!! The count: 1------2------ 2.9!!!
|
Kojima's near falls! |
| Kojima felt he had the match won. He hooked Bane for another
tiger driver, but on this one Bane flipped over his head to the mat
behind him, and grabbed his arm on the way down. Kojima turned to
face Bane, but only fell right into the trap as Bane ducked under
his shoulder and wrapped him into the Peppermint Twist!! There was
no getting out now, only being let out, and Bane wasn't letting up.
Kojima fought the hold as long as he could, but eventually he tapped
his foot on the mat. Bane released the hold when the referee called
for the bell and stood up grinning, pointing to his head. |

bell sounds. Then, the other three Sickos hit the ring at a run from
the backstage area. Bane leaves the ring as Bo grabs Kojima in a
rear waistlock. Weehawk measures him, then roundhouse kicks him in
the head as Bo takes him over for a release german suplex. A
split-shot to the backstage area shows Sanosuke Imori and Shuji
Yagami, having tried to come to the aid of their friend, being
beaten down by Hannibal, Tyrant and Mr. Wiggles. Bane returns to the
ring with a chair and pounds it over Kojima's back as he lays on the
mat. The EFW security force floods the area, but Vermin yells them
off, still retaining some control over them. Vermin then hands Bane
an object - a mask exactly like Onslaught's. Bane puts it over
Kojima's face, then stands above him with both arms raised as the
crowd boos them roundly)
JB : "Somebody get them out of there! Kojima's had
enough!"
BH : "They're sending Onslaught a message, Jim, that THIS is what
he's facing!"

MAIN
EVENT TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Hateworks vs Nomad/"The
ICON" Rick Idol
|
| Bo and Nomad started out for their teams respective teams, but
an important factor here was Bane, who accompanied the champions to
the ring, dressed in a black suit and carrying his Perdition title.
He prowled around the ringside area, smirking. Bo began things with
a hammer blow to Nomad's back, but Nomad came right back with a back
brain kick! Bo slammed Nomad into the corner and then down, and
then, with Bane jumping on the apron to distract Stu Lumpkin, Bo
pulled out his sickle and scratched up Nomad's face! Idol ran Bane
off, but the damage was done. Bo then belly to belly suplexed Nomad
over the top to the floor, where Bane took another cheap shot,
kicking him while he was down. Nomad tagged Idol in when he came
back and the two sandwhiched Bo with clotheslines! Then they pulled
him up and gave him a double back suplex! |
Good teamwork from the
challengers |
| Bo took down Idol with a fireman's carry, but Idol responded by
clipping Bo's knee out and punching him while he was down. Idol
followed this by setting Bo and giving him a reverse tombstone
piledriver! Bo tagged out to Weehawk while Bane yelled at the ref
that Idol had pulled Bo's hair. Idol and Weehawk had a punching
match, neither man going backward a step, and neither doing any real
damage to the other. Weehawk whipped Idol to the ropes, then hit the
opposite ones. He threw a vicious yakuza kick, but Idol took it
right in the chest like he was Vermin or something! You can't see
Weehawk's face, but he probably looked suprised. |
"Sorry, No Sale!" |
| Idol tossed the suprised Weehawk to the outside, where he
confered with Bane about something, then got back in the ring. Idol
dropped and punched Weehawk in the marbles. Weehawk, not backing
down from any challenge, cyclone whipped Idol and stomped HIM right
in the stones. Bane then jumped up on the apron again, drawing boos
from the audience, but giving Weehawk the cover he needed to grab a
screwdriver from his boot and stab Idol in the back of the head with
it! He tossed it to the outside while Nomad complained about the
sloppy officiating. Weehawk, apparently not appreciating being
punched in the nether region, stomped Idol there again, gave him a
double underhook belly to belly suplex, and then stomped him there
AGAIN. Idol rolled to the corner and tagged in Nomad. The two worked
the double team on Weehawk, stomping him down and choking him with
their boots. Nomad pulled him up, then sat him on the turnbuckle.
Then, climbing up with lightning speed, Nomad jumped and
frankensteinered Weehawk off and into the ring!! |
FrankenNomad! |
| Nomad whipped Weehawk to the ropes, but Weehawk grabbed the top
rope and slid under to the outside, where Bane comforted him. Nomad
made a jerking off motion with his hand at the sight, which sent
Bane into a yelling fit. Weehawk re-entered the ring and tagged Bo,
but that didn't stop Nomad from hooking him up and delivering a
northern lights bomb! Bo grabbed him from behind and delivered a
back suplex, but Nomad slammed him into the corner right after.
Nomad then got a running start and plowed into Bo with a corner
zero-sen kick!! Bo flopped onto his face like a bald Ric Flair, and
Nomad gave him a king kong knee drop to the head!! That woke Bo up,
because he caught Nomad with a fireman's carry, and then a DDT. With
Nomad down, Bo jumped on top of him and drilled him with punches.
Nomad hit a swinging neckbreaker, but Bo hit another DDT and then
went back to his fists on the ground. Bo hit Nomad with a belly to
belly suplex, throwing him into his own corner, where he tagged in
Idol! Bo charged, but Idol caught him with a arm drag as he came in!
Bane jumped up on the apron, but Idol clocked him off with a huge
right hand! Idol whipped Bo across, but Bo reversed and sent Idol
in. Bo ducked under on the return, and when Idol hit the opposite
ropes, Bane jumped up and slammed the Perdition title into his
back!! Idol stumbled out from the ropes and into the waiting grasp
of Bo Abobo, who slipped around and gave him the DOUBLE GERMAN
BO-PLEX!! The belt shot combined with the suplexes had knocked Idol
cold! |

(Bane rips the tag title belts away from the
timekeeper, but Nomad is chasing him like a flash. Bane high-tails
it around the ring with Nomad in pursuit, but Weehawk hid behind the
ring steps with Bane's Perdition title. When Bane ran past, Weehawk
stood up and blasted Nomad in the face with the title belt. The
crowd booed loudly as Bane returned to throw a few cheap shots at
Nomad while he lay on the ground. Then, the three holding their
belts high backed up the isleway while the crowd let them have
it)
JB : "Bane just saved the tag titles for the Sickos!"
BH : "Whatta jip!"
(... but right before the three Sickos reach
the curtain, Sanosuke Imori, Shuji Yagami, and a bandaged Andy
Kojima come through the curtain behind them! Sano and Shuji are
armed with chairs, but Kojima is armed only with his feet. The crowd
cheers at their appearence, but Bane thinks it's for him and waves
it in. They turn to walk through the curtain and the three let
loose: a chair shot for Bo, one for Weehawk, and a kick to the face
for Bane lays all three Sickos out!)
JB : "YES! LET THEM HAVE IT!!"
(Nomad is pointing at them and laughing in the
ring, where he has helped Idol to his feet. The three ambushers take
a moment to celebrate before an enraged Vermin comes through the
curtain, weilding a pool cue, and they scatter to the four winds.
Then Magnum comes through the curtain behind Vermin with his pike!
He is ready to stab Vermin right through the back before Hannibal,
Tyrant and Wiggles attack him. But before they can do much damage,
Onslaught, Atlas, and Death's Head hit the scene, attacking the
champion and his cohorts!! Idol and Nomad charge down the isle to
join the fray, but Vermin quickly gathers the troops and calls a
retreat in the face of the chaos and greater numbers. A grinning
Vermin holds the Sickos back behind him with his arms, backing off
through the backstage area, as the others hold their
ground)
JB : "Vermin and the Sickos are sent packing as we go off the
air! For the EFW crew, this is Jim Biggins saying SEE YOU NEXT
MASSACRE!!"
