UPDATE : EFW Superstar Paul Savage was seriously injured at the television tapings on April 22nd, 2000. He is currently in critical condition in the intensive care ward of Saint Mary's hospital in Buffalo, New York, suffering from several broken ribs and a broken neck. Footage of his match with Vermin where there injuries occored will be shown tonight on Massacre. This footage may not be appropriate for young viewers. Parental Guidence is suggested.
(The EFW Television opening is shown, follow by a shot of Jim Biggins and Buck Hammerstien in the studio at the EFW towers. A still shot Paul Savage on a hospital gurney is on the monitors)
JB : "Fans, we want to send out our best wishes to Paul Savage. Savage was greviously injured at the EFW tapings earlier this morning at the hands of Vermin, Achilles, and "The ICON" Rick Idol. At the time this is being recorded, we are unsure the extent of his injuries, but it is carrear threatning."
BH : "It's a sad day in the EFW, as once again Vermin and his pals have gone too far and may have cost one of our brightest young stars his future in this business. I would not rule out assult charges in this case for all three men."
JB : "We're going straight to the footage of that match now."

We join the match with Savage on one knee, blood streaming down his face, and Vermin down on the mat. Savage appears to be going for the win, signaling for his finisher, the FRONT FACE DDT!! He pulls Vermin up, but Vermin shoves him backwards with both hands into the cage!! Savage stumbles out and walks right into a HAMMER OF HATE that sends him in a complete flip. Vermin collapses backward into a sitting position. With Savage down, Vermin bangs his fist on the mat three times.... and in the corner, a knife blade shoots up through the mat!! It slashes a hole in the mat, and from under the ring crawl "The ICON" Rick Idol and Achilles!! Idol slides a chair into the ring while Achilles uses a thick chain to lock the cage door closed. Vermin pulls Savage up into a canadian backbreaker position on his shoulder... he then walks forward and thread's Savage's head through one of the gaps in the cage bars. With a laugh, Vermin then grabs Savage's legs and JERKS downwards!! Savage's neck is snapped backward in the cage bars, he falls to the mat holding it. Vermin pulls him up and holds his arms while Idol and Achilles repeatedly punch him in the ribs and chest. Idol then BASHES the chair over Savage's head, and then opens the chair and places it over Savage's head and neck. Vermin releases him and nails him on the back of the neck with a HAMMER OF HATE right as Idol slammed him right in the face with a LEGEND KILLER, crushing Savage's head between them!!! EFW Security and officials were trying to use a pair of bolt cutters to enter the cage, but the chain was too thick. Savage was out cold, but the worst was yet to come. Achilles grabbed the prone Savage from the mat and lifted him onto his shoulder, in position for a tombstone piledriver. Then, grabbing Savage by his waist, Achilles DROVE him head-first into the mat!! His neck twisted in an awkward way. The EFW officials finally got the chain loose and flooded the area. Idol, Vermin and Achilles then left, and Savage was eventually carted out of the arena strapped to a backboard.
RESULT:

JB : "It makes me sick watching that footage."
BH : "It makes me sick knowing those animals are on the street tonight, courtesy of Potterdamn Industries, INC."
JB : "Let's keep Paul in our thoughts and prayers. Obviously, the safety of Savage was paramount, and we had to take extra time to make sure he was taken care of. As a result, some of our live matches had to be bumped, but we still have three exciting contests taking place here tonight."
BH : "Yes, let's not let this event put a damper on the show. That'd what they'd want."
JB : "That being said, let's take you to Condo and Doom, who mixed it up in our opening match."
"The Extreme" Condo Warrior vs Doom
As Condo and Jade make their way to the ring, Doom jumps them on the ramp!! He furiously pounds Condo down to the ground, then drags him down to the ringside area. The bell rang as Doom rolled Condo into the ring. He followed and continued beating him while he was helpless on the mat. He pulled him up, and threw him hard into the corner. From there, he laid into him again with brutal punches. Doom locked on a choke, and the ref counted him.1-2-3-4- and Doom got into the face of the official. Condo fell to the mat, gasping for air. Doom turned back around to meet Condo taking him down with a drop toe hold. Doom fell forward and his neck landed on the top rope. He bounced backwards clutching his throat, as Condo got to his feet and regained his bearings. Condo went to work on the neck of Doom, hitting him with Elbows, knee drops and stomps to his neck. Condo locked Doom into a reverse chinlock, wrenching hard on Dooms neck. Doom reached up, and grabbed a handful of Condo's groin, and Condo screamed in pain as he realesed the hold, and rolled to the outside of the ring. Doom staggered to his feet, and went to follow Condo. Doom was met on the outside with Condo swinging his belt handed to him by Jade, but Doom barely dodged the hit, and hammered Condo down with a double axe handle. Condo hit the floor, and dropped the belt. Doom proceded to pound him on the outside. Doom went for a chair, and raised it to crack Condo with it, but Jade interfered and planted a kick to the face of Doom. Doom dropped the chair and fell backwards to the floor. Condo rose and pounded Doom with hard punches, then choked him with the microphone cord before rolling him back into the ring. Condo wasted no time, after laying in several hard punches and a loud "WHOO!" he locked Doom into the Uncle Condo #1! Doom was in extreme pain, and was nowhere near the ropes as THE FORMER ALBERTA GIANT ran in from the back!! Doom was tapping out right as he hit the ring!! He pulled Condo off, and CHOKESLAMMED him to the mat while the ref called for the bell!

Condo high-tailed it away from ringside with Jade, avoiding a two on one beating.
JB : "I believe that victory gives Condo a two match winning streak, Buck."
BH : "I don't know what Jade's doing for him, but if I were him I'd make sure she kept it up. Condo's been on fire since she arrived."
JB : "You really don't know, do you, Buck? That's so sad."
BH : "Hey!"
JB : "Our next match is the forte of both men: Bo Abobo and The Mangler in a deathmatch with a five minute timer."
Bo Abobo vs The Mangler
Deathmatch - Five Minute Timer
Both men went furously at each other when the cage was turned on. Both men locked up, and Mangler quickly pushed Bo back, and snapped him in the face with a kick. Bo stood there for a second, then grabbed a screw driver out of his toolbelt, and stabbed Mangler in the head with it. Mangler fell backwards with Bo on top of him. Bo began beating Mangler about the head and face with his fists. The loud speaker blasted 1 minuted pased. Bo looked up, and Mangler threw him off. Mangler was bleeding from the stab wound in his head, but he got to his feet, and they grappled again. Mangler went to throw Bo to the cage! Bo put on the brakes, and fell backwards into a sitting position, where Mangler low dropkicked Bo in the head. Bo dropped the screwdriver and started to get up. Mangler grabbed the screwdriver, and began stabbing Bo with it!! The speaker 2 minutes passed. Bo grabbed Mangler by the hair, and pulled him off of him. Mangler dropped the bloodied screwdriver on the mat, and got to his feet where Bo waited for him. Bo was now bleeding, and he went to grab Mangler, but Mangler slipped around Bo and back suplexed him onto the mat. Mangler got up, and Bo was furious. He rose and grappled with Mangler. Bo sent him to the cage, but Mangler reverse it, then Bo GRABBED THE ELECTRIFIED CAGE while still holding onto Mangler!!!! Both men collapsed to the mat, Bo taking the worst of it. The 3 minute mark passed. Bo was the first to stir, and he got to his knees as Mangler began to get up. Bo got to his feet, and stomped Mangler back down to the mat. Mangler was trying to get to his feet, but the shock had taking alot out of him. Bo pulled Mangler up, and GERMAN SUPLEXED him as the timer hit the 4 minute mark. Bo slowly rose, and shook his head, sending blood flying all over the ring, as he was bleeding badly. He tried to pulled Mangler up, but he fell back down to the mat and covered himself as the timer started counting. 10-9-8-7-6- Mangler stirred and covered himself as the EXPLOSION WENT OFF!!!! The sound was deafening, and the cage was turned off. The smoke cleared... a referee entered the ring to check on the wrestlers. Somehow, both men were STANDING UP!!! The referee restarted the match! Mangler seemed to have taken the worst from the blast, Bo quickly grabbed him and DOUBLE GERMAN SUPLEXED him!! Bo rose again, and was not done. Pulling Mangler up, and hit him with a DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!! Both men laid on the mat for a while before Bo finally rolled over and locked Mangler into the Texas Clover Leaf. Mangler refused to tap, but was bleeding badly. He tried desperately to break the hold, but it just wasn't going to happen. The match was stopped by the referee shortly thereafter.

Post match, Bo grabbed two beers from the Weehawk, who had come to ringside. Bo popped one and drank it down, but then walked over and dropped the other in Mangler's lap as he sat on the mat. Mangler seemed a bit confused.
JB : "We also see Condo's on and off tag team partner scoring a win tonight, marking two in a row for him as well."
BH : "This is the only profession in the world where you can come to work drunk like Abobo does and not only are you allowed to work, but your carrear actually advances because of it. Unreal."
JB : "What's unreal is how those two could stand there and take a blast like that and keep fighting. Mangler never submitted in that match, even after all the punishment he'd taken."
BH : "And what was the beer thing? A show of respect from Bo? Naaah, no way. Couldn't be."

Well fans, we've got one more match for you tonight. Onslaught is taking on the man who assaulted him last week, the Inquisition's Legion."
Onslaught vs Legion
The match began with Onslaught grappling with Legion. Onslaught literally manhandled Legion by armdragging him across the ring! Legion landed in the opposite corner of where they were standing, and Onslaught came in to inflict more punishment. Legion quickly got to his feet, and starting laying into Onslaught with martial arts style kicks to the abdomen. Onslaught shrugged them off, but Legion didnt give up. He hopped to the middle turnbuckle and dropkicked Onslaught in the face! Onslaught stumbled backwards, as Legion went for his knees with a couple of low drop kicks. Onslaught stumbled backwards, and Legion came in fast. Too fast, as Onslaught caught him with a lariat that flipped him like a kite in turbulent wind. Legion came crashing to the mat and Onslaught began beating and stomping him with fury. Onslaught pulled him up, and PRESS SLAMMED Legion over the top rope! Onslaught followed, and dropped diving headbutt on Legion while he was on the concrete. He picked him up on his shoulder, and went to run him into the pole, but Legion slid down behind Onslaught and pushed him into it instead. Onslaugth hit the pole and stumbled backwards into Legion's dropkick which sent him back into the pole. Legion climbed back into the ring, and took a breather while Onslaught got to his feet. He shook his head around, then climbed back into the ring. Legion again went for the knees with a stomp as Onslaught entered the ring. He continued with another low dropkick. Onslaught used the ropes to keep from falling. Legion came in fast, but Onslaught caught him by the throat!! Onslaught walked to ther center of the ring, and slammed Legion to the mat with the DEVASTATOR!! Onslaught decended for a pin. 1-2-3
