Pete Wilco: Let me explain the Bat match to those fans who may be new to it. A Bat Match involves a baseball bat which will be hung above the ring post on one of the corners of the ring. Once the bat is secured by either man is becomes a legal weapon to be used in any fashion desired. This one can be deadly to the head and back area which are commonly struck like McGwire home runs.
SB: Well these two HAVE a history! The fans are rev'd up for this card, so without further delay let's get the match rolling!
PW: Well Sunny, looks can be decieving. I would suspect that right now Homicide as well as Dream Master has some butterflies fluttering right now. But remember, Vegitto is at ringside for his man and can be a factor if needed.
SB: The bell sounds and it is set to go. Homicide has immediatly run for the turnbuckle and starts to climb it for the bat. Dream Master behind him yanks him off the top rope and to the canvas! Dream Master hammers away at Homicide with some punches, and with a big chop backs him to the ropes... Dream sends Homicide across. Homicide grabs the ropes tho to avoid a Dream Master dropkick. Homicide slowly turns around after yelling at Vegitto about how smart he is... Dream is up tho and hits a sunset flip! 1-------2---KICKOUT! This one almost ended in a hurry! Dream is back up and still has control over Homicide, whipping him hard to the buckles! Dream backs up... oh my... SOMERSAULT KICK to the corner, but Homicide out of the way! Homicide goes and lifts Dream back to his feet and SLAMS him down in the center of the ring.
PW: Just when it looked like Dream Master had Johnny Homicide hurting it appears he has turned the tables on him. Those high risk manuevers are always just that and this time it backfired. Homicide is following up strong, stomping the head and neck of Dream as he lies on the mat.
SB: Dream Master has managed to struggle back up and Homicide has him lined up.... RUNNING KNEELIFT, oh somebody call the orthodontist! Homicide takes advantage of DM who is clutching his mouth after that one and Johnny picks him up... Oh, looks like a TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER, but no, Dream managed to grip his legs around the head of Homicide and give him a SATELLITE HEAD WHIP clear to the other side of the ring! Excellent counter.
BG: Oh that is just sick. How are we supposed to watch the match if they can't keep their perverted desires at home.
PW: A classic counter move there Sunny had cost Homicide some momentum. Dream just executed a near perfect THRUST KICK and Homicide is over clutching the ropes to take a breather. Dream Master may be headed for the bat.
SB: Indeed he is, Dream is making his way over to the turnbuckle to grab that dangling and ever tempting ball bat. Homicide is slow to get up but seeing Dream Master up makes a quick effort to get over there. Dream is on the top turnbuckle and almost has his hand to unhook the bat!!! but Johnny Homicide is shaking the ropes and Dream Master fell down right on that top turnbuckle! Johnny picks him up and turns him around on the top... he hooks the leg.. WHAM, the mat takes a beating as Homicide just top rope FISHERMAN BUSTER'd Dream Master! He goes for the cover, 1------2-----SHOULDER UP!
PW: Wow, I thought he had him with that move. That was well executed and my advice now would be that he goes for that bat. I think he will.
SB: He looks over at it but has made no move for it.... He has lifted up Dream Master and wait.... he applies the EVER-LASTING TRAUMA!!!! His finishing hold, that deadly Chicken Wing Sleeper Hold is locked in strong and Vegitto almost looks ready to hop up but Dream tells him not to, he wants to do this himself. Dream is fading out it seems, the fans and Vegitto are cheering trying to get him back up to his feet. But again is he crumbling down to this hold and the ref is about to check the arm of Dream Master. The ref picks it up and it drops ONCE. Vegitto is bashing the side apron in frustration. The ref lifts the arm again.... it falls TWICE!! A smug look has come across Homicide at this point. The ref picks it up again.... Homicide drops Dream Master to the mat. Is that it? It didn't fall, or did it?
PW: No, it appears it didn't Sunny. Homicide broke the hold and dropped the obviously out cold Dream Master to the mat. It appears he wants to deliver more punishment. But it can only be expected in the heated matches tonight that this won't be the last time it happens either.
SB: Johnny has climbed up to the top rope and throws Vegitto who tried to stop him to the ringside floor. Johnny has a hold of the bat and is unhooking it now as Dream lies with his face down flat on the mat and still no movement after that hold. Homicide has the bat! He is up on the top rope and has it almost like a two handed spear. Dream is up to his hands and knees and Homicide from the top... RAMS THE BAT INTO HIS BACK!! Dream collapses down temporarily clutching his back.
BG: Well at least the ending of the match looks like it will be some fun.
SB: Homicide has his hand up... he does a neck cutting pose, signaling that DM is done for! He is up to the second buckle and awaiting Dream to stand up. Homicide jumps off... Dream is out of the way! Homicide smashes the mat and it seems to have shocked his arms as he drops the bat in numbness!
PW: You'd be surprised the force of that ring when you hit that hard with an object. It really just shocks you. Dream Master grabs him by the throat... SWINGING NECKBREAKER!! Oooh, and Homicide still trying to get up without the use of his arms.
SB: Dream has the bat and whips Homicide to the ropes.... MY WORD, he just cracked it across the skull of Homicide!! Homicide is rocketed back into the turnbuckles as a bit of blood begins to trickle down his face. Vegitto is heard shouting something to the ring. Dream Master picks Homicide up.... LIGHTS OUT SUPLEX!!!
He places a foot on Homicide! 1--------2-------3!!! He has won it!! Homicide has moved his arms but barely now as Dream sticks his finger in the face of the downed Homicide and then leaves with Vegitto, but still clutching his back.
PW: Well the over worked and underpaid stretcher team for tonight has their first victim if you will, as they are gonna have to check out Homicide to see if this is a temporary or a problem causing injury he sustained in his arms.
BG: Well they just tossed him up there. They can drag him off to the morgue now the bum, losing to Dream Master. Outta the way man, get your paralyzed body out of the way so good wrestlers can get down to the ring.
SB: That's awful! Well the match is over and the winner announced, we'll be back!
WINNER: Dream Master via pinfall in 5:44
