INFERNO United Center Chicago, Illinois Tony Calvoni: Welcome fans to another action packed Thursday Night Inferno!!! Tony Calvoni here, with "The Living Legend" Barry Zybrosco and "The Genius" Mike Tenacious. We have a very special Inferno for the fans this week. Mike Tenacious: That's right Tony. Given the past results from last weekend's Hack+Slash we have decided to hold a battle royal of twenty three of the top singles wrestler the MFWL has to offer with the exception of one man - the NEW World Champion, Nomad. The winner of tonight's battle royal is GUARANTEED a shot at the World Title at the next Pay Per View. Barry Zybrosco: This is a great opportunity for anyone to bring themselves up the rankings! Sure, the odds on favorites would have to be someone like Vermin, HareRazer or even that ingrate "former champ", Nightmare. But anyone can walk away with this and get a shot at the gold. Someone like El Cosmico, or Pain has the chance of a lifetime tonight!!! TC: That's true Barry. And how about some of the newcomers. Some of these guys have spent little time here in the MFWL and one of them could be facing the World Champion in less than a month. MT: This is truly a great chance to shine here in the MFWL. Even for the other 22 wrestlers who will not win tonight. I would imagine that if a wrestler elimanted three or four opponents that President Keith Turner would have to give them a rise in the rankings, even if they didn't walk away the winner. TC: Gentlemen, David Bluffet has entered the ring to announce the participants. Here we go!!! David Bluffet: Ladies and gentlemen!!! Welcome all to the "Chance of a Lifetime" Battle Royal here in the great city of Chicago, Illinois. Twenty three men will enter the ring, but when the dust clears only one man will remain. For an entrant to be eliminated, he must be thrown OVER the top rope and TOUCH the arena floor. Anyone eliminated will immediately be escorted back to the dressing room area. And now, the participants.... (David Bluffet names each entrant as he makes his way to the ring.) Representing the 421 OCz, Lil OC Murray and Easy T. Representing the E-Mafia, "Tough Guy" Tony Spinelli and "The Godfather" Al Lecino. He's sailed the seven seas and has settled here in the MFWL, Edward Black. Representing the newly fromed JOB SqUAD, El Cosmico, The Great Panther, and Dale Winters. El Annunaki... The Extreme Condo Warrior... Fool Killer... Representing The Sickos, Bo Abobo and Vermin. Representing The Vicious Alliance, Destructo and Devastation. Representing The Vigilantes, Rebel, Striker, and Scorpion. HareRazer... The newly crowned Light-Heavyweight Champion, Shadow... And representing the Trio of Devastation, Pain, Dream Master, and the former MFWL Heavyweight Champion of the world...Nightmare!!! (All entrants have entered the ring...the bell sounds...and all 23 wrestlers charge each other in a total wrestling frenzy.) TC: With all the action going on, fans, it's hard to keep track of what's going on in the ring. It looks like Dale Winters and The Great Panther are double-teaming Condo in the corner. All three Vigilantes have made there way to The Vicious Alliance. Easy T and Bo are tangled in the ropes. MT: I think El Cosmico and El Annunaki are battling in out in the center of the ring. BZ: Take a look at Vermin and Nightmare pummeling each other on the far side of the ring. Does either realize they have to conserve their energy?!? TC: It looks like we could have our first elimination. HareRazer has Pain lifted high above his head...but NO, Dream Master clips HareRazer's leg, and both he and Pain collapse in the center of the ring. That was a close one for Pain. MT: These men are all acting on instinct in there. I can't imagine that any plans are being followed. BZ: But you have to figure that wrestlers who belong to a group have an advantage. They're going to work together with other members of their group. People like Condo and Shadow are not going to last long in that ring. TC: Well, speaking of Shadow, he's making short work of Lil Murray. OH MY GOD, he thrust kicked Murray over the top...but luckily for Murray he only hit the apron and was able to roll back under the ropes! Well, fans we've hit the 3 minute mark, and not a single wrestler has been eliminated. This one may go the distance tonight. MT: Dream Master is looking to make a name for himself. He's interrupted the collision of Easy T and Bo. He's chopping away on both men. Easy T goes down. It looks like Dream Master is trying to get Bo over the top. He almost has him...just a little ways to go...but, what's this? Easy T is shaking his head. He nails Dream Master from behind with an ax-handle and throws him over the top. Dream Master is dazed on the arena floor as I'm sure he was not expecting that! Easy T flashes a quick grin, then attacks Bo again like the two were never interrupted. BZ: It looks like Pain is giving the best performance of his life out there. He has Dale Winters up against the ropes. Punch after punch delivered to Winter's face, but Dale has his arm clenched into the top rope. Pain backs off, gives a scream and dropkicks Winters square in the chest. Winters is shot flying over the top and is elimated from the battle royal. TC: So, we're five minutes into the battle and two wrestlers, Dale Winters and The Dream Master have been eliminated from competition. BZ: Striker is pointing at Destructo. Destructo waves Striker on. Striker charges toward the big man but stops as a battle between El Cosmico and El Annunaki cross his path. Enraged that his charge at Destructo was obtstructed, Stirker grabs both luchas by the back of the neck and slams their heads together. Annunaki collapses to the canvas as El Cosmico still stands dazed. Striker hoists Cosmico up in a press high above his head and vaults the lucha over the top. El Cosmico has been eliminated! TC: And I just saw Al Lecino get clotheslined over the top by Edward Black! MT: Look at the near side! Devastation and Panther are mixing it up with Nightmare just standing there watching them go at it. Nightmare gives the crowd a sign...and as the fans respond, Nightmare cloteslines both men over the top. Devastation and The Great Panther hit hard on the arena floor. TC: Ok, guys we're at the seven minute mark and there are 6 men eliminated and 17 still battling it out. Shadow and Murray are STILL going at it in the corner, but this time Murray has the advantage. He's giving Shadow rights and lefts to the jaw. Murray is beginning to lift Shadow...this is the end...NO Shadow reversed the slam into a Satellite Head Scissors that sends the unsuspecting Murray over the top and to the floor. Scratch that down to 16 men remaining. BZ: OH MAN!!! Make that 15. I thought Pain was going to have a good night, but he just got Northern Lights Suplexed straight over the top rope by Bo Abobo! MT: Condo looks as if he has El Annunaki in a compromising position. He has grabbed the lucha by his flowing red hair! Condo gets a running start and sends Annunaki over the top...NO...El Annunaki holds on! Condo has turned away and, thinking he eliminated El Annunaki, begins to flex. El Annunaki bounces off the near side and delivers a high knee to the back of Condo. Off balance from flexing, The Extreme Condo Warrior is launched forward and tumbles over the top rope onto the hard arena floor. What a reversal of fortune! TC: And it seems Striker has found his way into a slug-fest with Destructo, but HareRazer is looking to get involved. He delivers a solid Rabbit Slap to the back of Striker's head and then grabs The Vigilante from behind and launches him over the top. After eliminating Striker, HareRazer takes up where Striker left off, delivering punches to a slightly dazed Destructo. BZ: And Shadow has just delivered one of his crazy martial arts kick to Tony Spinelli's jaw, sending him over the top as well. Looks like the E-Mafia is out of this one... MT: And Edward Black just delivered his Spine Breaker Drop on Vermin. I've never seen ANYONE lift Vermin with such ease. Now he picks up Vermin and sends him flying over the top. Unbelievable...I don't think ANYONE expected Vermin to be eliminated this soon. TC: So, we are now ten minutes into the battle royal and eleven men still remain. BZ: Look what's going on! HareRazer is taunting Vermin, who's just getting up from the floor. The two seem to be having words. But look! Bo is sneaking up from behind! He blasts HareRazer from behind with a low blow! Vermin pulls down on the top rope and Bo pushes HareRazer forward. HareRazer tumbles over the top rope and is eliminated! MT: Well, technically the rules just state that a wrestler must go over the top...it doesn't say anything about the top rope not being at normal height, so I guess this will stand! TC: And now Vermin and HareRazer are going at it. Security is on its way down to break these two up. Meanwhile, on the far side, Scorpion has Edward Black up Atomic Drop style...but NO, instead he atomic whips Black right over the top. Three straight big men have been eliminated in under a minute! At the eleven minute mark, only nine men remain. MT: El Annunaki is about to Frankenstein Fool Killer but he can't get him over. Fool Killer reaches underneath Annunaki, holds him up, and powerbombs him right over the top rope!!! El Annunaki's head slams hard on the cold arena floor. I think he's unconscious. BZ: And check out Destructo. He has Rebel up in a press slam....and OH!!!...he just sent the little guy sailing over the top! Rebel lands hard onto the time keepers table, splitting it in two. It's getting vicious out there!!! TC: Well, with only seven men remaining, the adrenaline is rushing through each wrestler's veins. MT: And with just under 14 minutes into the match, Bo has just sent Scorpion over the top with a clothesline. All the Vigilantes have now been elimina...Easy T has just jumped onto Bo's back and applied a sleeper hold. Bo is loosing consciousness fast! His body is slumping on the top rope...his dead weight is sending both men over....there they go....NO. Both men land on the apron only. Easy T has released the hold and now both men are slugging it out on the ring apron. But wait!!! Shadow from the far side charges toawrd both men! What's he going to do? BASEBALL SLIDE!!! He takes out the legs of Easy T AND Bo and both men fall from the apron to the floor. Since they didn't re-enter the ring after going over the top, they are indeed eliminated. But it doesn't seem to matter. They're continuing their brawl all the way back up the aisle. TC: And now only three men remain!!! One of these men will get a shot at the World Title at the next Pay Per View! Will Nightmare get a shot to regain the gold? Will Shadow get a shot to up his status from Light-Heavywieght Champion to World Heavyweight Champion. Or will the winner of the 4 way match at Hack+Slash be able to take this one and go for the gold? MT: Nightmare with a clothesline on Destructo. A clothesline to Shadow. Nightmare is taking down both men. Nightmare picks up Shadow for a Nightmare Neck Breaker, but Destructo nails him from behind. These three men must be exhausted. BZ: Of course they are! This thing has been going on for nearly 15 minutes. TC: Shadow hops to his feet and lets loose chop after chop on Destructo. He's just unloading them onto the big man's chest. He backs Destructo into the ropes, steps back, and hits Destructo with a clothesline. Destructo slumps against the ropes. Shadow with another clothesline! Destructo ALMOST went over that time. Shadow bounces off the far ropes...he's going to nail him....but Destructo recovers in time to back body drop Shadow over and it is the masked man who is elimianted! (The crowd errupts as Destructo and Nightmare, the final two participants, stare at each other intently.) BZ: Both men charge at each other as fists fly! Each man is exchaning punches, ax handles, and knife edges. Nightmare has the advantage. He executes a vicious Shoulder Breaker on Destructo. With the big man down, Nightmare wraps on a choke sleeper on the downed Destructo. Destructo is trying to fight off the effects, but he seems to be losing consciousness. Nightmare is looking to eliminate Destructo by putting him to sleep. Eliminating Destructo will be a lot easier if he's not conscious. MT: But wait! Destructo is starting to come alive! He's getting to his feet with Nightmare still on his back!!! Destructo is up and he runs backward into the corner, catching Nightmare between himself and the post. What an unbelievable show of strength! TC: And now Destructo grabs Nightmare by the throat and choke slams the ex- champ to the canvas. Destructo picks Nightmare up, goes behind....and I didn't think it was possible!!! Destructo gets Nightmare up in the IRON MAIDEN torture rack!!! It's cinched in! Destructo is jumping up and down with Nightmare on his back! He moves backward to the ropes....positions Nightmare over the top....and releases! Nightmare falls over the top and to the floor! DESTRUCTO HAS WON IT!!! (Fireworks explode as Destructo stands triumphant in the middle of the ring. Devastation and two other men, most likely the now infamous Apocalypse and Corruption storm the ring and congratulate their comrade.) TC: Well there it is fans. The winner of the "Chance of a Lifetime" Battle Royal!!! Destructo will be meeting whoever is champion for the gold at the next Pay Per View. For Mike Tenacious and Barry Zybrosco, this is Tony Calvoni saying "see you next week."
