Extreme Firepro Wrestling is a fantasy pro wrestling e-fed that uses Fire Prowrestling Returns as a mechanism to sim match results between fictional characters.

Historically, EFW has always been the innovater in Firepro e-feds. Existing in some form since March of 1998, we were the first to inact character creation rules that favored fairness and realism over cutthroat design and blazed the trail of cooperation over competition philosophy that is now the predominant line of thinking in the e-fed world. The character designs and roleplaying ability of EFW members has historically been the standard that everyone else attempts to reach. The influence of EFW can be felt in nearly every western Firepro e-fed that exists today.

With the 2006 re-launch, EFW is attempting to bring back the excellence of years past, hopefully to last for many years to come.

EFW Policies
1. Website

In-character news and updates about happenings in the EFW universe will be found at the EFW News link in the top menu bar. Out-of-character and other website maintainance announcements will be found at Site News. Character profiles, roleplaying and general discussion will be handled at the Forum.

Shows will remain at the Shows link until the end of the year, after which they will be transfered and archived at the Legacy section.

2. Membership

Membership is on an invitation-only basis. Current members may invite anyone they feel will be an asset to the federation. If you are interested in joining but haven't been invited, come introduce yourself at the Forum.

3. Scheduling and Presentation Shows will be booked by the administration dependant on member participation, current storylines and feuds and overall card quality. Matches will be presented in full video. There will be between 5-8 matches for the Monday Night Massacre show each week. EFW 'Event' shows, such as Chance of a Lifetime, Armageddon, Gang Wars and Survival of the Fittest, will take place once or twice a year.

4. Character Creation

There is only one character creation rule in EFW, known as The Prime Directive.

The Prime Directive: No matter how many points it takes, no matter what logic settings you use, no matter what style or size the character has to be, make the character wrestle matches the way you envision he or she should. All other considerations are secondary.

We have done away with rule lists mainly because of our invitation-only policy for membership. You will only become a member if you are invited, you will only be invited if you can be trusted to make good edits, and if you can be trusted to make a good edit, then there is no need to restrict your creativity with detailed rules.

Questions you should ask yourself while testing an edit: Is this edit doing his finisher enough, or too much? Is he doing Move X too much? Is his moveset varied enough to be entertaining over a long period of time? Is he dominating matches too often? Is he wrestling the style I envision for him?

5. Conduct

Always treat fellow EFW members with respect and remember there is no competition, only cooperation.

When creating characters for submission, use as few as possible.

When writing an RP for the Roleplaying board, make sure the setting is somehow related to a wrestling event or could realistically be broadcast on EFW television. Post-show locker room interviews, bluescreen interviews, backstage happenings and such are usually good ideas for settings. Music videos and other types of segments filmed outside the context of a wrestling show are allowed as well, just be sure they make sense to be broadcast.

Posts written for the Character board are not subject to this restriction as they are not intended to be shown on EFW television, only to give your fellow players insight into a character. Unless the post expressly says otherwise, other characters in EFW will not be witness to the happenings of posts on the Character board and should not react to them.

All members are strongly encouraged to work together with their partners to develop feuds and storylines and present their ideas for matches, promos, segments etc to the administration. Do NOT rely on the administration to do everything for you.

Birds of a Feather clause: Remember that characters managed by other players but who are aligned similarly with your own (ie, heel or face) are allied with yours at least along similar ideological lines; a face will help a face and a heel may help a heel simply because of this similarity in alignment. It is not necessary or desired for a character to team within his own stable or keep to himself at all times, variety is the spice of life.

Keep in mind as you develop your promos and write RP's that EFW is no longer a lawless zone - EFW security is now a highly-trained force equipped to deal with even the most monsterous individual or group, and heavy fines (resulting in a deduction of character points in extreme cases) and suspensions can and will be used to punish any activity detrimental to the federation. This includes but is not limited to: attacking referees, announcers and other officials, causing chaos in the backstage area, and excessive violence outside the context of the match.
